VS Factory Replica Panerai Submersible PAM 1070 Gold Carbon Watch

Hey everyone, just returned from our New Year holiday – a brief one indeed. Spent several hours on the train yesterday and still feeling a bit under the weather. How are things at the watch factories? Word is, some are taking orders now, but most are still in holiday mode and won’t resume operations until February 6th. If you have urgent orders, inform your dealers promptly. Due to the holiday backlog, there’s a rush once the manufacturers are back, and processing times are extended. It’s a first-come, first-served situation.

Let me introduce the initial replica watch – a replica golden Panerai from the Submersible collection. Not the usual 47mm, but a smaller 44mm size, measuring a mere 15mm in thickness. Crafted by the VS factory, also known as SBF (SoBoring Factory), all new Panerai replicas from this factory now carry the name SB. Not sure about the name change, perhaps a strategic move to reduce risk.

The PAM 1070 model looks like rose gold, but it’s a distinct shade. The golden case boasts a forged carbon bezel, accompanied by a diver’s black rubber band. As a bonus, VS includes an extra nylon band for free – a nice touch. The watch seems to incorporate the fusion concept seen in Hublot’s designs.

VS factory Panerai replicas have consistently set the benchmark, dominating the market and keeping competitors at bay. The brushed rose gold case and crown bridge are prominent features, though the brushing on the bridge is more apparent than on the case. The bezel, made of real forged carbon, closely mimics the genuine texture but differs slightly from the authentic material. As usual, discrepancies exist between replicas and genuine pieces with special materials like carbon.

The black dial showcases a sunken gray small-second subdial, providing a striking contrast against the background. While the sunburst finish on the dial is discernible, it lacks the delicacy of the genuine article. The skeleton hands at the center, with white luminescence coating, add a distinctive touch. The gold on the hands and hour markers leans more towards yellow gold than rose gold.

The solid case back is a recent trend in new Panerai replicas, featuring the brand symbol and OP number. Personally, I prefer the see-through crystal back. An interesting note is the small OP logo engraving on one of the lugs, giving it a unique touch. Inside, a super clone P.900 movement powers the watch – one of the earliest super clone P series movements from VS. These movements, tested over the years, typically exhibit few or no issues. This Panerai design excites me, reminiscent of the moment I first laid eyes on a fully forged carbon Panerai several years ago.
